Whether oils, tomato paste, paint resins or cosmetics, everything can be safely transported around the world in metal barrels. But these packaged goods should also be visually appealing and the coating must protect the sheet steel from environmental influences.
SILVAPAL
The coating for reconditioned barrels. In the so-called Reko area (processing of old barrels), our water-thinnable, high-gloss and particularly full-bodied paint system is used on blasted steel sheet. These are then hardened with forced drying (40-110°C).
SILVATHERM
The coating for your new barrels. For the production of new barrels, we offer our Europe-wide tried-and-tested barrel varnishes, water-thinnable. The paint products for the outer coating meet VPA 7. We have approval from the Nehring Institute for the paint on the inside of the barrels.
