Our new production site on Bindlacher Berg, built in 2003, was planned with strict environmental considerations in mind. We have, for example, specially sealed hall floors guaranteeing a safe protection of the soil, we run all processes within closed water circulations, recycle solvents for cleaning and minimize our energy consumption by using the heat of the discharged air for heating. Only very few ingredients of our lacquers and pastes are in any form “problematic”; they are treated in such a way that no danger can emanate from them.

SW color uses the innovative DrumGuard load securing system to avoid using plastic straps to secure loads when shipping barrels. With this system, we are able to pack our paints and coloring pastes more safely and in an environmentally friendly manner for transport.

With the DrumGuard-system, we can carry out load securing in our logistics efficiently and ergonomically. Less plastic waste is produced at the recipient by avoiding load securing straps or stretch film. Another advantage of the system is a higher level of securing of the load during transport.
